Two Piece Army Clasp Knife. NATO Stock Number (NSN): 7340-99-975-7402. Made in England. All Stainless Steel with heavy duty sheepfoot main blade, can opener/awl, flat head screwdriver and lanyard shackle. This hand finished Army Clasp Knife has been made by Joseph Rodgers at their Sheffield workshop since the 1950s. Issued to the British Army unchanged for 50 years it has been proven in every theatre and operating environment. Used as a general purpose pocket knife and as an item of survival equipment, it is small and robust with excellent utility. The main blade is suitable for heavy cutting, light prying and scraping. The can opener/awl tool can also be used for puncturing, as a spike, as a bottle opener, an improvised spanner for some small bolts and so on. The heavy duty Stainless Steel spring bars hold the blades firmly in place, both when open and closed, preventing inadvertent opening. The blades are non-locking and under 3 inches in length so the knife can be legally carried in the UK as a general purpose folding pocket knife. Customers must be 18 years or older for knife sales.
